Council last week voted to SCRAP the Counties Pothole BudgetThis cut has been described by the Councils Officers as High Risk.

The constant threat by
the Government and the

Despite serious flooding in the area Lib Dems at Somerset County Council voted last week to cut the County’s budget for drainage maintenance.

Let's keep South Somerset clean and tidy. Fly-Tipping is a constant problem especially to get it removed quickly. Let me
know if you see any and I will badger the council to remove it.
Although a cow has no upper front teeth, it grazes up to 8 hours a day, taking in about 45 kg (100 lb) of feed and the equivalent of a bath tub full of water.

I am committed to green issues in respect of recycling, air pollution, energy efficiency, open spaces and protection of the green belt. Innovative schemes could be created to encourage local
people to participate in improving their quality of life.
Like many of us, I was really angry when the Council
scrapped the Green Waste collection. I believe that the Council’s policy on this is frankly nonsense and I promise I will continue to lobby on your behalf to have Green Waste collection re-introduced.
